Why A Highchair Is Useful For A Child

When you are buying a highchair as a gift it is more fun when you find out what the theme is going to be for the nursery or what the mother prefers so that you can get one to match. Sometimes people do not have color themes they only have character themes and this is what I had when I had my son and I looked everywhere to try and find some kind of highchair that would match with everything else he had.

The chair I found was eighty dollars and I was in shock. I kept wondering how crazy these companies were to charge eighty dollars for something as simply as a highchair. I paid it because I like all other mothers would buy anything for my child that I possibly can afford and this soon became clear to me why a company will charge this much, because people will buy it.

I looked everywhere I could look to try and find one that was cheaper but also matched as close to color as I could get at this point I was not concerned about the characters matching, I was going to be happy just to find a solid color that matched.

I must have looked for about seven months to try and find a highchair for my son and could not find anything that was cheap enough and was in good enough condition. Now that he has a chair I see them everywhere and some of them are even free.

I will never understand why something you are looking for never seem to come available until you do not need it anymore, then you see it everywhere. When you buy a highchair I would suggest you getting one that is used (unless you have a lot of money) because then you can save the money for other items that your child might need.

You could buy diapers, pacifiers and even bottles with the extra money you save when buying one that is used. There is more than just the use of feeding for a highchair. I set my son in his chair while I am doing dishes so that he can be with me because he does not like me to be out of the room.

My little one was not planned and I am not someone with a whole lot of money to spend so I know that a baby can cost a lot just by that one tiny little expense called a highchair. It is not so bad when you buy one as a gift because the expense is only a one time thing. So if you are buying a high chair for someone that already has a baby or is going to have a baby you should find a good sturdy one that will last for a few years.
